Letter – Did you know Don Catterall

We are enquiring about a kind man named Don Catterall, age 52. He was a familiar figure around James Bay Thrifty’s, where he used to panhandle and assist senior ladies with their groceries or simply give a friendly greeting to all of us.

Sadly, Don passed away in early March and we would like to honour his memory with a service at Our Place on Pandora.

Could you help with a photo of Don or a memory to share? Don was slim-built, around 5’ 9”, grey beard and hair, usually wore a ball cap. Many never knew his name but remembered his gentle presence.

If you have any information please contact Ron Morgan at 250-382-0933.
