He was well known and respected in James Bay although most people didn't even know his name. He panhandled on the corner at Starbucks and Thrifty's and was always polite and helpful to seniors and anyone needing a helping hand or quiet conversation. He did not ask for a handout but was appreciative of anything given. A tribute to his memory with flowers and notes has been set up on the corner (see picture) He touched a lot of people with his gentleness and kindness. He will be missed.
