Poem: Along the Ocean Path

Out of deep time
Another season of renewal
The glossy seeds of autumn, buried,
Feel signals of sun’s warmth to
Energize the mystery of new beginnings
Purple, yellow, white petals
Burst into light from darkness
A soft breeze has them dancing
To the delight of chattering walkers
The Olympics shine white
Ocean full of commerce
The earth carries on its activities
Into this new season.
